–––– Medication Management
Thoughtful Prescribing. Ongoing Follow-Up.
Psychiatric medication works best when it is chosen carefully and reviewed regularly. Your provider helps you find the right medication and dose, and adjusts the plan as your needs change.
Follow-up visits are available by secure video for patients in Miami and across Florida.
–––– Personalized Treatment
The Right Medication, Reviewed Over Time.
Medication can be an important part of treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and insomnia. It is never one-size-fits-all.
Your provider explains the options, expected benefits, and possible side effects, and checks in regularly to see how you are doing.
Medication Review
A review of what you are taking now, what you have tried before, and how each has worked for you.
Prescribing
Medication selected for your diagnosis, health history, and treatment goals.
Monitoring
Regular follow-up to track your response and manage side effects early.
Adjustments
Dose changes or alternative medications when your plan needs to be refined.
–––– Is It Right for You
Medication Management May Help If.
Medication is one of several treatment tools. Your provider will talk with you about whether it makes sense in your situation.
- You are starting psychiatric medication for the first time
- Your current medication is not working as well as it used to
- You are having side effects that are hard to tolerate
- You need a provider to continue an established treatment
- You want to combine medication with therapy
–––– Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions.
How often will I have follow-up visits?
It depends on your treatment. Follow-ups are usually closer together when a medication is started or changed, and less frequent once you are stable.
Can I stop my medication when I feel better?
Please talk with your provider before stopping or changing any medication. Some medications need to be reduced gradually and under supervision.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans for psychiatric care and offer self-pay options for patients without coverage.
If you are in crisis: Gen Medical Hub does not provide emergency services. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
